My Son Sanctuary is the most important temple complex of Champa and has been rightly described as heart and soul of the Kingdom for nearly 1000 years (from the 4th to the 14th century A.D). My Son Sanctuary was recognized as World Cultural Heritage Site in 1999. The temple of My Son are located in a deep and narrow valley near My Son Village. It’s about 35km from Hoi An and it will take you about 1 hour of driving. Amazing My Son Sanctuary Private Tour is a good option for all travelers who loves history and taking photo.
In the morning/afternoon, our tour guide and driver will pick you up at hotel lobby. Depart to visit My Son Sanctuary – The World Cultural Heritage Site. Upon arrival, we will have about 2 hours to discover the site by walking throughout the landscape. Learning history of Champa Kingdom and Cham people with our local English speaking tour guide. Enjoying Champa’s traditional performance. (If we are on time). There are 4 performances at 09:30am, 10:45am, 02:00pm and 03:30pm every day.
After that, get back to the car and move to the house of a local family to learn how to make ricepaper. You will enjoy your own hand-making product later then. Transfer to the boat station for taking a boat trip to Hoi An. Enjoying “bánh mì” (Vietnamese bread) with nice and cold breeze on boarding, beautiful sunset river scenery on the biggest river in central Vietnam – Thu Bon River. Your camera should be ready for amazing moment of local people on work along the river.
